1. Who We Are

Cricago (cricago.com) is an AI-powered cricket analytics platform covering IPL and Indian cricket. We publish pre-match Ideal XI predictions, post-match analysis, player spotlights, and a cricket blog. The site is operated by an individual publisher based in India.

2. Data We Collect

Public visitors: Cricago does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to read content. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information from visitors.

Admin user only: The site has a single administrator account secured via Supabase Auth (email + password). No personal data is collected beyond the admin login credential, which is used solely to protect the content management panel.

3. Cookies

Session cookies (admin only): When the administrator logs in, Supabase Auth sets a secure HTTP-only session cookie to maintain the authenticated session. This cookie is not set for public visitors.

Analytics and advertising cookies (future): We may in the future integrate Google AdSense or Google Analytics to support the free operation of this site. If we do, those services may set cookies on your device to serve relevant advertisements and measure traffic. We will update this policy before enabling those services.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to read content on Cricago.

4. Third-Party Services

Cricago uses the following third-party services to deliver its features. All API calls are made server-side — no credentials or raw API responses are exposed to your browser.

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
• CricAPI (cricketdata.org) — live match data, scorecards, player stats
• Anthropic Claude API — AI-generated match analysis and articles
• OpenWeatherMap — venue weather data for pre-match analysis
• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them if you wish to understand how they handle data.

5. Log Data

Like most web services, Vercel (our hosting provider) may collect standard server log data including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is retained by Vercel per their data retention policy and is not used by us to identify individual visitors.

6. Data Retention

We do not store personal data about public visitors. Admin account credentials are retained only for as long as the site is operational. You may request deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and GDPR where applicable), you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data

Since we collect no personal data from public visitors, these rights most likely do not apply to your use of this site. However, please contact us if you have any concerns.

8. Children's Privacy

Cricago is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
